What is the impact of US companies on India's growth, competitiveness and development?

Supporting the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), Athena assessed the impact of Indo-American business relationships on India's growth-prosperity-development continuum. The landmark program provided unique insights into the trajectory of private-sector development in India. This resulted in an exhaustive database (in print and digital form) of American companies active in India. It documented their impact across various parameters, such as: investments, employment generation, gender equality, contribution to the SDGs, innovation, supply chain sustainability, manufacturing excellence and contribution to Make in India. The database forms the principal building block of the India Growth Casebook that documents growth stories of American companies in India. It thereby supports USISPF's overall narrative for policy advocacy for member companies across a range of strategically relevant institutions.
