Ashmika’s interest is in the field of development economics, particularly in education and health. She focuses on the role data can play for reforms in these areas. Ashmika also has an interest in the intersection of technological innovations and public policy. She previously worked as a quantitative researcher with Outline India, and as an intern with Brookings India and NITI Aayog (the Government of India). Ashmika holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Delhi University and a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
