Dr. Najib is an urban environment, waste, sanitation and water resources management specialist with over 10 years’ experience across Africa and Europe. He leads dynamic multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high impact programs and projects in complex urban environments. Dr. Najib’s expertise lies in developing urban waste, sanitation and water supply service delivery and implementation frameworks. Dr. Najib works with a range of development actors to structure, coordinate and implement multi-stakeholder platforms. He has experience with environment, climate change and urban resilience policy and regulatory review, analysis, development and dissemination through multi-stakeholder participatory processes. His experience delivering high-quality research is demonstrated through his extensive list of peer reviewed papers, books, technical documents, policy briefs, proposals, reports and related documents. Technology also plays a key role in Dr. Najib’s work and he has successfully leveraged GIS and remote sensing, participatory appraisal tools, program and project management software in the design and delivery of his programs.
