Parul’s interests include spatial planning and preparing statutory plans ranging from regional to the city and local area levels. She also has an interest in physical planning legislation, policy, and strategies to integrate land use and transportation systems for sustainable urban development. Parul interned with Charles Correa Foundation, Panaji, Goa as an architect and with a public sector planning agency, Naya Raipur Development Authority as an urban planner. Parul holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Manipal University, Jaipur. She also completed her master’s degree in Urban Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. As part of her capstone project, Parul adapted Public Transport Accessibility Levels (PTAL) to analyze and propose an urban spatial structure to support public transport accessibility levels in Greater Raipur Region.
