Tanvi's passion for the development sector stems from its challenging nature. She believes that a sector like this always keeps one on their toes as the solutions are never straightforward.
Her involvement with this sector began with voluntary NGO associations. The education sector has been a significant part of her career. She views education as a powerful force multiplier which can have cascading effects on almost all other development areas. Therefore, she is interested in how education intersects with other areas like health, livelihoods, gender and so forth. However, she does not intend to limit herself to only education, as it is only the beginning of her career. Having extensive experience working with stakeholders, she has also worked with organizations such as CRY, DCPCR and Teach for India in areas of mental health and child rights.
Tanvi graduated in Commerce from the University of Delhi. A Master's degree in Development from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, followed.
