Tuhin Sen is an associate director at Athena. He leads the firm’s work that falls at the intersection of public and private sector development. This includes policy advisory, strategy and public affairs. He has twenty years of combined experience in the field of strategy, communication and international development. This includes work for organizations such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe, Leo Burnett, Dentsu and the Global Development Network. Tuhin is a contributor to the OECD’s Review of Regional Innovation (2007) that spanned the automotive, biotechnology and ICT sectors.
His marketing communication experience covers programmes for Hyundai, Honda, Shell, Coca-Cola, Unilever, HSBC, DuPont, Hewlett-Packard and Nestlé. Additionally, he has spearheaded several public-sector projects, including: public diplomacy initiative for the UK High Commission (India), the heritage passport programme strategy (UNESCO, India), and the climate change communication (DFID, South Asia). He also led GDN’s agricultural policy research project, which is now a HBR case study. Tuhin holds an MPA from Sciences Po, Paris, where he graduated summa cum laude with a specialization in economic and territorial development.
