Dhruv Pasricha is passionate about equitable and sustainable water management. His key research areas include city-wide sanitation planning, water-sensitive cities, green infrastructure, water-bodies management, and shit flow diagrams (SFDs).Previously, he worked at the Water Programme within the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) as a Deputy Programme Manager, where he engaged in action research, capacity-building, and advocacy projects related to the aforementioned themes across India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Rwanda, and the Caribbean. Dhruv was involved in leading the SFD - Promotion Initiative and the Water-Sensitive Urban Design and Planning (WSUDP) vertical at CSE.
He has co-authored CSE's Roadmap for WSUDP series, SFD reports, Down To Earth articles, and has also presented at the IWA World Water Congress. He is a member of the Management Committee and serves as a Young Water Professional representative in the IWA Specialist Group on Sanitation and Water in Developing Countries.
Dhruv earned a Bachelor of Planning and Master of Planning (Environmental Planning) at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
