Kun's interests and experiences include applied economics, monitoring and evaluation, education, water and sanitation, and gender-responsive development planning. She is currently supporting Athena's projects and business development pursuits in Africa. Kun previously worked with the Grameen Foundation in Washington D.C., M-Shule in Kenya, and organisations in the education sector in both the U.S. and China.
Kun holds a Master's degree in international development and international economics from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and Bachelor's degrees in economics and history from Truman State University.
