Monisha Lakshminarayanan brings deep expertise in qualitative research – both primary and secondary, with a focus on strengthening psycho-social support systems for children and adolescents in challenging circumstances through high-quality evidence. She joined Athena Infonomics in August 2023.
Prior to Athena, Monisha served as the Lead Evidence Synthesis Specialist at Campbell South Asia, where she led and contributed to systematic reviews, evidence maps, and plain language summaries across the health and social sectors. She has also worked with the Centre for Child and Adolescent Wellbeing, Project 39A, and served as a fellow with Teach for India.
Monisha holds an MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Delhi. She has received specialized training in child and adolescent mental health services from NIMHANS. Her doctoral research explored pathways to resilience development in the aftermath of child abuse among children in street situations.
