Developing affordable housing in Timor-Leste through a Public-Private Partnership

Supporting the Government of Timor-Leste, the IFC is working to improve access to affordable housing for under served groups in the country. Athena and the Affordable Housing Institute (AHI) supported the program by designing viable options for a Public Private Partnership (PPP). This involved recommending climate resilient housing designs, assessing the housing market and identifying regulatory constraints. The study will help Timor-Leste develop a more robust regulatory regime for future housing PPP projects.
