Assessing Mozambique’s Digital Agriculture Ecosystem

Assessing Mozambique’s Digital Agriculture Ecosystem

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) is continuing its support for USAID Missions to conduct digital agriculture ecosystem assessments.

Athena Infonomics has been selected to conduct a digital agriculture ecosystem assessment in Mozambique. This assessment will support USAID in better understanding, working with, and supporting the country’s digital agriculture ecosystem to meet their development objectives. The assessment recommendations will be used to help inform both current and future programming in digital agriculture. Based on the findings from interviews and desk research, the team will develop specific recommendations on future investments in this space.

Through the digital agriculture ecosystem assessment, USAID seeks to identify key opportunities for investment and provide targeted recommendations for tools and technologies to enhance current and planned USAID agriculture activities.
