Scalability and Impact Assessment of the NEN Institutional Capacity Building Model
The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN)

How can we analyze data to accurately assess institutional impact on job creation?

National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) engaged Athena to develop an impact assessment report on job creation. This included a qualitative and quantitative data analysis to understand institutional impact and implications of NEN to stakeholders. In addition to establishing impact in terms of jobs created and start-up placements, it also analyzed the impact of the companies' roles. It also looked at sectoral coverage, revenues and gender representation. The approach used involved the development of a comprehensive wire-frame through a causality identification model. It used NEN's Institutional Capacity Building Model to answer the following: validity, stability, sustainability, fitment, and final impact.
