How can we analyze data to accurately assess institutional impact on job creation?
NEN engaged Athena to develop an impact assessment report on job creation. This included a qualitative and quantitative data analysis to understand institutional impact and implications of the National Entrepreneurship Network to stakeholders. In addition to establishing impact in terms of jobs created and start-up placements, it also analyzed the impact of the companies’ roles. It also looked at sectoral coverage, revenues and gender representation. The approach used involved the development of a comprehensive wire-frame through a causality identification model. It used NEN’s Institutional Capacity Building Model to answer the following: validity, stability, sustainability, fitment, and final impact.
