Jyoti’s interests include socio-economic research in the development and impact space. She has worked with the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), where she tracked high-frequency indicators of the Indian economy and was responsible for producing analytical articles on the same for their Economic Outlook division. In pursuit of socio-economic research in the impact space, Jyoti later joined The/Nudge Foundation as a Market Research Intern. There, she conducted market scans for the demand side of their Future Perfect initiative, intended to improve job readiness among underprivileged youth in India. With a background in the social sciences and some experience in handling copious datasets and conducting market research, Jyoti’s interests are currently sector-agnostic, as she believes that she is just getting started with her career.
Jyoti is an Economics graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy.
