Katie Joyce is an advisor to Athena Infonomics. She is the senior vice president at Ipsos Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., where she is responsible for managing their government and healthcare research portfolio. She manages a team of 55 senior staff members from data scientists and social scientists to technologists and project managers. In this role, she has been responsible for winning a $100M single award contract vehicle with Veterans Affairs to provide a full range of research, analytics, and process improvement support to their healthcare facilities nationwide. Prior to this, she served as the director/global head of business development for Abt Associates, where she directed a team of 23 to move towards a more account-driven model of growth.
Katie has also supported Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior associate in several markets such as community and financial development and health. She has worked in various client service delivery roles at ICF international in health, education and social programs. Katie donates her spare time to COMPASS, a D.C.-based organization that provides consulting services to non-profits. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia in politics and history, and her master’s in public administration from the George Washington University.
