Mithra is a project finance professional with experience in urban infrastructure finance, development finance and infrastructure policy advisory. She has experience with public private partnerships in the water and waste water sectors. She also supported the largest water PPP in India. Mithra has an appreciation of both research policy side and the implementation of infrastructure, especially social infrastructure like water and sanitation. In addition to this, Mithra’s interests include environmentally and socially sustainable project financing, risk management for projects. She previously supported the Ministry of Urban Development’s (Government of India) Financing PPP and Bankability based on Risk Criteria manual for sewerage. Mithra holds an engineering degree in production engineering, and a post-graduate in business management. She has also completed a business and corporate law executive course.
