Athena Infonomics and GPSDD Co-Author Data for Development Policy Brief
AUTHOR:
Athena Infonomics

Many in the Data for Development community—non-profits, donors, public- and private-sector organisations, multilaterals, etc.—are examining the relationship between data availability and data use, and ways to promote effective and sustained data use while working towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of the Data Values Project, Athena Infonomics and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) produced a policy brief to examine ways in which Data for Development initiatives can be strengthened. This brief, the product of multiple focus-group discussions with key stakeholders, also provides recommendations for each category of stakeholders to strengthen their impact on sustaining data use.
