Whether the question at hand is to get people to build toilets or promote the desired health seeking behaviors among women, the ability to ask the right questions to extract behavioral drivers can go a long way in designing more effective policies and programmes. Athena blends the latest thinking in social science research to map behaviors with responsive data collection techniques such as ‘disguised experimentation’ and ’empathic design’ to reduce respondent bias and better map the ‘projective techniques’, behavioral contexts and underlying drivers.
