Audumbar Chavan is a Senior Consultant in the AI and DPI Services at Athena Infonomics.

Prior to joining Athena, he was part of the core team at the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), which operationalized the Unified Lending Interface (ULI), a landmark digital public infrastructure initiative enabling frictionless credit across key consumer segments in India. He also worked on climate finance initiatives, including the design of a climate data repository blueprint for the financial sector.

His experience includes feasibility assessments of AI-enabled regtech solutions to detect greenwashing and the application of generative AI in financial services. He holds a master’s degree in public policy with a specialisation in business and government and has served as a guest expert on technology and green finance.
