
Narendra Kandimalla is the Lead Consultant – AI & DPI for Agriculture at Athena Infonomics, joining the organization in May 2026. He has led rural transformation initiatives with CSR and non-profit organizations, supporting more than 5 lakhs small and marginal farmers across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
His expertise spans Climate-Smart Agriculture, Digital and AI-driven Agriculture Solutions, Soil and Water Conservation, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Youth Engagement, and Skill Development. Narendra has extensive experience in building partnerships with donors, CSR organizations, government institutions, research agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
Before joining Athena, he served as Regional Head – South at Digital Green Trust and also worked with PwC and Reliance Foundation. He holds a Master of Social Work degree from Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh. He also contributed and established a model under AI-driven agriculture PPP initiatives recognized by the Gates Foundation, World Economic Forum, and Telangana State Technology Services Limited.
